Summary:

We are looking for professionals with 2+ years of experience in credit risk assessment within Financial Institutions, BFSI, or NBFC sectors. The role involves evaluating the creditworthiness of financial institutions through detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, and research. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and credit evaluation while preparing structured credit reports. Candidates with exposure to counterparty risk analysis and financial institution assessment will be preferred.

Location: Mumbai / Pune / Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting credit risk assessment for financial institutions across BFSI and NBFC sectors.
2. Preparing detailed credit risk reports based on financial and qualitative analysis.
3. Analyzing financial statements, ratios, and credit indicators to evaluate risk exposure.
4. Assessing operating environment, business strength, and financial strength of institutions.
5. Developing and updating financial spreads and financial models using company filings and databases.
6. Evaluating management strategy, market indicators, and external support factors impacting credit risk.
7. Supporting ad-hoc credit and risk analysis requests from internal stakeholders.
8. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely credit evaluations.

Requirements:

1. Having 2+ years of experience in credit risk assessment or financial analysis.
2. Possessing experience in Financial Institutions, BFSI, NBFC, or Banking sector.
3. Demonstrating strong understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis, and credit fundamentals.
4. Having hands-on experience with financial modelling, Excel, and financial data analysis.
5. Showing strong analytical thinking, research capability, and report writing skills.
6. Holding CA / MBA Finance / Postgraduate degree with relevant experience.
