We are expanding our Industry Research cum Credit Analytics practice and looking for a sharp and agile professional with relevant experience in corporate credit assessment, financial modelling, research, and report writing.
Desired qualifications: CA / CFA / MBA Finance
Desired experience: A thorough finance professional with 2-4 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, financial analysis and modelling, valuation, industry research, and report writing.
What are we looking for:
- Domain Knowledge: Should be well versed with financial statements of corporates and have a good understanding of the key financial ratios and flow of information between Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement. Should be able to analyse financial statements thoroughly and peer benchmarking.
- Credit assessment of corporates: Well-versed with criteria for credit assessment of corporates and infrastructure projects, including structured transactions. Experience in independently handling credit rating assignments, client management and Committee presentations.
- Financial modelling: Proficiency in building financial models from scratch with primary focus on the various infrastructure sub-sectors and corporates. Scenario analysis and sensitivity in financial models
- Financial & credit analysis: should have a clear understanding of various financial parameters such as NPV, IRR, DSCR, WACC, DCF, FCFF, FCFE, Cost of Equity, Cost of Debt etc.
- Research: Should be proficient in industry research and report writing clearly articulating analytical insights backed by data analytics.
- Report writing: should be proficient in writing credit appraisal report, industry research reports and thought leadership articles.
- Soft skills: should be good in verbal and written communication skills, agile, team player, positive attitude
Key responsibilities:
- Support the senior members in executing various mandates independently
- Build and refine credit assessment frameworks and models, financials models and prepare various reports / PPT decks based on the need for the assigned mandates
- Interact with prospective clients to understand the requirements and complete client management end-to-end during assignment execution
- Support the senior management team in preparing pitch decks and proposals for prospective clients
- Contribution towards franchise building activities such as sectoral publications and webinars
- Travel to client's location as when needed for fulfillment of the mandate requirements
