- Assess and conduct detailed credit analysis and evaluation of CF lending proposals as part of the lending approval process
| - Scrutinize credit proposals by analyzing the project plan and progress, client creditworthiness, business strength, market credibility, financial statements, Income Tax returns, cash flow statements, repayment track record, average bank balance and adherence to other internal credit norms
- Perform direct and thorough investigations and obtain relevant credit information through personal interactions with developers as and when needed
- Undertake detailed external research and market feedback from sources such as bankers, suppliers, customers, etc. and evaluate the proposal accordingly
- Interact with the Legal and Technical agencies to ensure that property and project risks have been understood and mitigated
- Ensure that each proposal complies with credit policies as well as all internal and external norms of lending
- Submit a credit appraisal memo to the Team Lead - CF for each proposal highlighting the key risks associated with the borrower to enable a prudent credit lending decision
- Follow up with RMs to ensure document execution and the handover of the documentation set to MOG for disbursement of loans

Monitor the existing construction finance portfolio based on designed formats and parameters | - Monitor the performance of the Construction Finance portfolio analyzing changes in fundamentals, ratings, deviations in covenants for deviations and project progress and status on a continuous basis
- Monitor overdue positions and initiate appropriate steps to support the recovery process for the same.
- Follow up on any pending documentation (e.g. OTC and PDD documents)
- Maintain networks with other financial institutions and able to take independent local industry references for customers if required
Prepare MIS reports and trend charts on portfolio progress/variances/defaults for all CF loans during their credit life cycle and forward them to the team leader, highlighting issues and recommending mitigants |
