Credit Underwriting & Appraisal: Conduct detailed credit evaluations of corporate and MSME clients by analysing financial statements, cash flow consistency, and GST filings.
Specialized Product Assessment: Perform risk assessments specifically for Invoice Discounting and Factoring, evaluating the quality of underlying debtors and verifying invoices.
Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the existing credit portfolio to detect early warning signals (EWS) of distress and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Policy Compliance: Ensure all loan proposals comply with the organization's credit policy and regulatory standards.
Legal Coordination: Work with legal teams to ensure documentation accuracy, including loan agreements and security documents.
Decision Making: Prepare Credit Appraisal Memos (CAM) and present recommendations for approval to the Credit Committee.
Credit Partnerships: Manage current partnerships and stitch new ones with NBFCs, Banks, Lending partners, Fintechs to cater to vast credit requirements of customers
Required Qualifications & Skills
Academic Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly preferred; alternatively, an MBA in Finance or both.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of work experience in credit management, specifically in NBFCs, Banks, Financial Consulting firms, or Law firms focusing on corporate lending.
Product Knowledge: Mandatory experience in credit assessment, lending, loan disbursement, Invoice Discounting and Factoring.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex financial data, calculate key ratios (DSCR, LTV, FOIR), and perform forensic analysis of bank statements.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with financial modelling in MS Excel and exposure to ERP/CRM systems.
