Credit Manager

Role profile:

Ensure underwriting of credit proposals for all lines of business cases for assigned zone as per the approved DOA and place the proposals to CCO and committees (UCC, DCC etc.) maintaining TAT and quality of portfolio Ensure quality of appraisal for the zone within the set parameters of Non Starters (Early Delinquency) and assign rating to clients on the client rating tool post appraisal Visit customers at respective zone on regular intervals to build relationship with clients and evaluate parameters on the capability and intent with regards to pay backs Prepare and present portfolio behaviour and progress reports to CCO & Zonal Head / Zonal Business Heads on a an ongoing basis, highlighting key risk issues and health of portfolio Highlight observations on the health of the portfolio at the zonal level to CCO & Zonal Head / Zonal Business and develop mitigation plans to control risks Manage team through the establishment of goal setting and review mechanisms to achieve the objectives of the function in the zone Ensure effective career and succession planning for subordinates Ensure adequate training of team members to be able to handle market dynamics and meet the requirements of the customers
