About the role

We are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team. You will manage customer accounts, ensure timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, safeguarding the company's cash flow and credit policies.

Experience Required: 2-5 years

Location: Delhi, India

Qualification: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Conduct credit assessments on new and existing customers and determine appropriate credit limits.
• Follow up on overdue payments via phone, email, and formal correspondence in a professional manner.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and queries efficiently & professionally.
• Reconcile customer accounts and process adjustments as required.
• Prepare and distribute monthly account statements and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Customer Service, to resolve account issues.
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies, accounting standards, and relevant financial regulations.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Professional demeanor and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
