Creative Strategist Films, Direction & AI Narratives
Location: Bengaluru (BLR)
Experience: 47 years
Type: Full-time
This role is for someone who:
- Thinks in scenes, beats, and edits
- Has been physically present on sets
- Can direct or co-direct performances
- Writes scripts, not just taglines
- Can conceptualise AI-generated films and give precise creative direction to AI artists or tools
You will own the creative spine of films whether they are shot on camera, generated through AI, or a hybrid of both.
Core Responsibilities
- Write short-film scripts, ad films, and narrative content (30s3 min)
- Break scripts into beats, shots, transitions, and emotional arcs
- Define visual grammar: framing logic, camera movement, pacing, and tone
- Direct or co-direct on-set execution alongside DOPs and production teams
- Build AI-first video concepts where visuals are generated, not shot
- Create prompt logic and visual references for AI-generated sequences
- Collaborate deeply with editors to shape the final narrative in post
Required Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong scriptwriting ability for film/video (not long-copy advertising)
- Real on-set experience in direction, assistant direction, or creative supervision
- Clear understanding of:
- Shot sizes and shot intent
- Performance direction
- Continuity and visual flow
What Will Make You Stand Out
- You've directed or co-directed branded films or narrative content
- You've worked on AI-led or hybrid films where storytelling was the challenge, not the tech
- You can explain why a shot or sequence works, not just that it does
- You have a portfolio that shows narrative thinking, not just visual polish
How This Role Is Measured
- Clarity and strength of film ideas
- How well scripts translate to screen (or AI output)
- On-set decision-making quality
- Ability to guide AI outputs toward a coherent narrative
- Final film quality, not number of decks made
