CRD (Charles River Development) Java Developer

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience required from asset management development experience, specifically in Charles River Development IMS.
• Experience developing software using Oracle Java.
• Experience and knowledge of CRD with the ability to develop Charles River interfaces and troubleshoot.
• Designing, developing, configuring, and supporting Charles River out of the box as well as custom Imports and Exports
• Experienced in using Charles River API to develop Java Plugins.
• Expertise in working with Database management systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle.
• Expertise in developing stored procedures, understanding triggers, creating complex SQL queries using database management system.
• Candidates are required to have experience in using Azure DevOps or similar tool to build and release pipelines along with Git.
• Experienced in Using Pentaho Kettle IDE to perform ETL operations.
• Candidates are required to have a good understanding of a batch scheduling tool.

General Responsibilities

• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in the financial industry.
• Collaborate with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end-to-end technical solutions.
• Perform coding according to technical specifications.
• Evaluate the resulting coding components in accordance with the company's coding, security standards and as defined in approved testing plans.
• Investigate, analyse, and document reported defects, raising issues as appropriate.
• Analyse run-time profiles to debug errors that may exist.
• Solve complex defects that arise through own work or the work of others.
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively at all organizational levels with written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
