Responsible for implementing & monitoring the SLA / SOPs of Primary Transport at the Factory & OEM level along with National HUB WH operations or large WH operations
.Responsible for periodic analysis of the performance of primary Carriers
Knowledge of Primary Freight, Route, and type of vehicles used as per industry and maximum utilization of vehicle CBM
Responsible for implementing the new initiative to improve quality and delivery standard
Responsible for setting transport basics of operations, setting quality norms, work toward the safety of material methods to avoid any transit risk
Vendor Management: Manage vendors to take the best output from them. Create a good vendor base and have complete knowledge of what is happening in the competition. Keep good costing track and induct any time if any Vendor is better in terms of Cost & Quality benefit to the Company
Insurance Management: Ensure that Insurance is lodged for the Damaged and accident material and follow up till Insurance claims get settled
Strategically plan and manage logistics, Warehouse, transportation, and customer services
Keep track of Quality, Quantity Stock, Stock Level, Delivery Times, transport costs, and efficiency at factory & CDC level
Arrange Warehouse, Catalogue Goods, plan routes, and process shipments
Raw Material WH Operations Management: Support Factory in managing short-term or long-term planning in terms of Raw material management and develop Vendors to manage such operations
