Project Role: Consultant – Supply Chain & Network Operations
Project Role Description: As a Consultant in Supply Chain & Network Operations, you will be responsible for helping clients optimize their supply chain processes through the implementation of best practices, systems integration, and advanced analytics. The role involves working with clients to streamline their supply chain operations, enhance efficiency, and improve overall performance. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Optimization: Assess and analyze client supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement. Propose and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- System Integration: Work with IT and operations teams to implement and integrate supply chain systems (ERP, WMS, TMS) that align with business requirements and enhance overall network performance.
- Process Improvement: Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to optimize supply chain workflows, increase operational efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage advanced analytics to monitor and measure supply chain performance. Create detailed reports and provide actionable insights to enhance decision-making.
- Inventory & Demand Management: Assist in the implementation of demand forecasting, inventory management, and distribution strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce stockouts and overstock.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to resolve operational challenges and improve supply chain processes.
- Technology & Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, advising clients on new tools and systems that could enhance their supply chain and network operations.
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their challenges and offering tailored solutions. Provide consultancy and expertise to guide clients through supply chain transformation efforts.
- Change Management: Support clients in navigating change during supply chain transformations, ensuring smooth implementation and user adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for client teams on supply chain processes, systems, and best practices. Share knowledge and insights with team members and clients.
