We are seeking a dynamic and experienced India Country Manager to lead our affiliate business operations in the Indian market. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the affiliate marketing industry, a proven track record of building and nurturing strategic partnerships with upstream and downstream players in the Indian affiliate ecosystem, and the ability to drive business growth and market penetration across India. This role requires strong leadership, cross-regional experience, and a results-oriented mindset to establish our brand as a key player in India's affiliate industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Indian affiliate market, aligned with the company's overall global objectives, to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and brand awareness.
- Build, manage, and deepen long-term strategic partnerships with key upstream (affiliate networks, technology providers, content creators) and downstream (advertisers, merchants, brands) stakeholders in the Indian affiliate industry, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Lead the end-to-end affiliate business operations in India, including affiliate recruitment, onboarding, activation, and performance optimization, to maximize affiliate-driven traffic, conversions, and ROI.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the Indian affiliate industry, providing actionable insights and adjustments to the business strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
- Manage a cross-functional team (if applicable) and collaborate with global teams (marketing, sales, product, operations) to ensure seamless execution of affiliate initiatives and cross-regional alignment.
- Drive cross-regional collaboration, leveraging existing global affiliate resources and best practices to adapt and implement effective strategies in the Indian market, while also sharing local market insights with the global team.
- Set and achieve annual business targets (revenue, partnership growth, market penetration) and prepare regular reports on business performance, market trends, and partnership status for the global leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards in all affiliate business operations across India.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the affiliate marketing industry, with a proven track record of managing affiliate business operations and driving growth in the Indian market.
- Deep and comprehensive understanding of the Indian affiliate ecosystem, including key players (affiliate networks, publishers, advertisers), market dynamics, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing strategic partnerships with upstream and downstream stakeholders in the affiliate industry, with a portfolio of successful long-term collaborations.
- Proven cross-regional work experience (e.g., working with global teams, managing cross-border affiliate initiatives, or operating in multiple regions within India), with the ability to align local strategies with global objectives.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and motivate cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders, partners, and global teams.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to set and achieve ambitious business targets, analyze performance data, and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in local Indian languages (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Ability to travel within India and occasionally internationally, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Country Manager or similar senior leadership role in the affiliate industry, specifically in India.
- Existing network of key contacts in the Indian affiliate industry (affiliate networks, top publishers, major advertisers).
- Experience working with global affiliate programs and adapting international strategies to the Indian market.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms relevant to affiliate management (e.g., affiliate tracking software, analytics tools).
