Job Purpose
This position will lead the HR function for TymeX India, providing strategic and operational HR support to the Technology & Engineering teams in-country.
The role ensures alignment with TymeX Group HR while driving India-specific people initiatives, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:Partner with Technology Engineering leaders to understand priorities and workforce needsProvide HR advisory on organization design, workforce planning, and talent strategiesSupport leadership in building a high-performance, inclusive cultureServe as the primary HR business partner to the India leadership team, ensuring local relevance of global programsTalent Management:Oversee recruitment strategy and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely and high-quality hiring for India-based engineering rolesManage onboarding, development, and succession planning for critical positionsPartner with TymeX HR to implement talent review and performance management processesEmployee Relations & Engagement:Serve as point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolutionEnsure fair and consistent application of HR policies, aligned with Indian labor laws including the Shops & Establishments Act, Gratuity, PF/ESIC, and POSH regulationsDrive employee engagement programs and feedback loops within the engineering functionManage partnerships with local labor and statutory authorities as neededHR Operations & Compliance:- Oversee India payroll, benefits administration, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity)
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety, and internal governance
- Liaise with external vendors and auditors for HR, payroll, and benefits compliance reviews
- Change & Transformation:
- Support organizational transformation, including integration of new processes, policies, or structures
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Lead HR transformation initiatives within TymeX India, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy and local adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred in a related field such as HR or Organizational Development
- Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive HR experience, including HR Business Partnership and HR Operations in India
- Extensive experience with employee relations and HR Business Partnership
- Demonstrated experience leading through strategic and transactional change
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters
- Act as teammate champion and change agent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of India employment laws and statutory compliance requirements
