The Counter Staff role is an entry-level position responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, and handling transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter the establishment and provide them with information about the menu and services offered.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are captured correctly.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and provide change to customers as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter and surrounding areas.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
- Attend customers at the counter in a polite and professional manner
- Explain product and assist customers in selection
- Handle billing and basic computer based sales entries
- Manger cash,UPI and card payments accurately
- Maintain counter cleanliness and product display standards
- check stock availability and inform supervisor outlet opening and closing procedures
