Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic CA Counselor to guide CA aspirants and qualified candidates in their academic, career, and professional development journey. The role includes career counseling, course guidance, and strong expertise in resume building tailored to finance, accounting, audit, and taxation profiles.

Key Responsibilities

CA Counseling & Career Guidance

  • Provide one-on-one counseling to CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final students
  • Guide students on exam strategy, articleship selection, career paths, and specialization options
  • Advise qualified CAs on job roles, industry vs practice, and higher studies
  • Address academic stress, motivation, and long-term career planning

Resume & Profile Building

  • Review, edit, and optimize resumes for CA students and professionals
  • Create role-specific CVs for:
  • Audit & Assurance
  • Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
  • Accounting & Finance
  • Corporate & Industry roles
  • Guide candidates on:
  • CV structure, keywords, and formatting
  • Highlighting articleship experience and practical exposure
  • LinkedIn profile optimization

Placement & Professional Readiness

  • Prepare candidates for interviews and technical rounds
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback
  • Guide on professional communication and workplace etiquette

Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain counseling records and progress reports
  • Coordinate with academic/placement teams if required
  • Stay updated with ICAI regulations, syllabus changes, and industry trends

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or strong experience in CA education/career counseling
  • Certification or proven experience in resume/CV writing (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of CA course structure and career pathways
  • Excellent CV writing and resume optimization skills
  • Good communication, counseling, and mentoring abilities
  • Knowledge of current job market trends in finance & accounting
  • Empathy, patience, and problem-solving mindset

Experience

  • 12 years of experience in CA counseling, training,career guidance
  • Experience working with CA students or professionals is highly preferred
