Job Description

Key Objectives of the Job

  • Providing psycho-therapeutic services to children and adults survivors of sexual abuse, maintaining the documentation for the same.

Major Deliverables

The major responsibilities are:

  • Providing psycho-therapeutic services to children and adults survivors of sexual abuse
  • Providing psycho-therapeutic services to children in Institutional setting.
  • Maintaining the client data base and documentation of all cases in the organizational formats and submitting monthly updates to the Co-ordinator.
  • Conducting group sessions on mental health topics like self-care, awareness sessions and trainings on the issue with various stakeholders.
  • Supporting the team in case work.
  • Assisting Coordinators and Managers in team and organization related tasks and reports.
  • Conducting trainings relevant to Mental Health and Child Sexual Abuse.

Job Challenge

Handle on-field challenges specific to interventions on the issue of CSA and work towards mitigating concerns in a timely manner.

Educational Qualification

Full time master's in clinical/ counselling psychology with a UGC recognized University.

Desired Experience

  • 1-4 years of experience in direct psychotherapeutic interventions with clients.
  • Preferred experience of working with cases of child protection.
  • Should be a stickler for detail and process adherence.

Other desired attributes

  • Being able to work in a team with clear and open communication.
  • Knowledge of windows, word and excel is necessary.

Language Proficiency :Fluency in English, Hindi and Preferably Marathi.

Location: Mumbai

The job may require traveling to various locations across the country.

Salary range

₹24,000 – ₹28,000/month (based on experience)

5200/- per month (Travel reimbursement)

2000/- per month (Therapeutic reimbursement)

5000/- (Annual Training reimbursement)
