Key Responsibilities

• Costing & Cost Control
• Prepare and maintain product cost sheets, BOM-based costing, and standard costing models.
• Perform detailed variance analysis between standard costs and actual costs and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor material, labour, and overhead costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and support operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure proper allocation of overheads and maintenance of costing structures.
• Conduct profitability analysis for products, customers, and business segments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual operating plan processes through cost-related inputs.
• Work closely with production and supply chain teams to improve cost efficiency and inventory management.
• Inventory & Financial Reporting
• Manage inventory valuation in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Reconcile inventory records with finance and operations teams.
• Assist in monthly closing activities related to costing and inventory accounting.
• Prepare MIS reports and cost analysis reports for management review.
• Support internal and statutory audits related to costing and inventory processes.
• Systems & Process Improvement
• Maintain and update costing masters, BOMs, routing data, and standard cost structures in ERP systems.
• Ensure data accuracy within ERP and costing modules.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen cost controls and reporting efficiency.
