Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Estimator to join our team and play a key role for our Oil & Gas Plant Projects (both International and Domestic). The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of extensive experience in tendering and proposal preparation, with a strong background in Mechanical / Chemical / Process engineering and a deep understanding of pipeline estimation. Candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects, working closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate Preparation: Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs.
- Tendering and Proposals: Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are covered and aligned with client requirements.
- Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance project profitability.
- Bid Management: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and information for bid preparation and submission.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates. Also analyze competitors bidding/costing.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements, address queries, and ensure all aspects of the project are understood.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, proposals, and supporting documentation.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and best practices in estimating and tendering processes. Also belief in First Time Right.
