Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator for a full-time, on-site role based in Pune/ Mumbai. The Senior Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates for Civil, Structural and MEP works, preparing BOQ's and Tender documents, Obtaining Technical Sanctions and preparing detailed tender documents for selection of contractors. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring precise cost evaluations for timely project completion. The role involves supporting project planning with financial insights while ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates from architectural drawings for various building types.

Develop BOQs for civil, interior, and site development works, aligned with government formats.

Prepare estimates using Maharashtra PWD SOR, CPWD SOR, and other relevant Schedule of Rates.

Create preliminary estimates using CPWD Plinth Area Rates (PAR).

Prepare detailed Rate Analysis for Non-Scheduled Items (NSI).

Prepare documentation and support the process for obtaining Technical Sanction (TS)

Prepare complete tender documents for contractor selection (NIT, specifications, BOQ, TS, etc)

Assist in bid evaluation, market analysis, and cost governance activities.

Mentor junior estimators and streamline estimation processes for the Pune office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying; PG in QS preferred.

812+ years of experience in building cost estimation and government-sector procedures.

Strong knowledge of PWD/ CPWD SOR, CPWD PAR, and government procurement guidelines.

Hands-on experience in preparing BOQs, rate analyses, tender documents, and TS submissions.

Software proficiency: Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, etc.
