Cost Accounting Manager

Hammond Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd is an Indian Subsidiary of a Canadian entity in designing and manufacturing electrical transformers. Manufacturing facilities (Plant) located in IDA Pashamylaram, Patancheru, Sangareddy District, Hyderabad.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accounting Manager at Hammond Power Solutions in Patancheru. The Cost Accounting Manager will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and controlling all Cost Accounting activities.

Ensures all internal controls are in line with the organisational goals.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

·     To perform daily, weekly, and monthly cost accounting tasks with a greater focus on analysis.

·     Checking BOM and routes entered by the engineering dept. for accuracy and ensuring correct standard costs.

·     Validate posting from production transfers, sales, open W.I.P., purchase orders receipt, and labour. Correct errors before the month end, perform monthly analysis, annual physical inventory, year-end closing, and audit reporting.

·     Validate and check standard labour postings from production and actual labour from payroll to ensure expenses and burden absorption accuracy.

·     Recommend and establish processes to improve cost accuracy.

·     Involve and lead the Physical Inventory count process.

· Involved in mass cost roll process.

·     Gross Margin reporting and analysis.

·     Compare actuals with standard and Variance Analysis and Reporting.

·     PPV analysis.

·     Labour variances analysis.

. Preparation of Product cost Budgeting and Budgetary control exercise

·     MIS & Monthly Closures, including MS Dynamics 365 reporting.

·  Review and report on periodical management reports from D365 ERP on cost accounting modules & compliance.

·   Developing and implementing costing, assessing completeness and accuracy of cost collation, job costing, material variance nuances, ensuring proper documentation, in-depth cost monitoring and analysis, commercial skills to suggest cost savings, stakeholder support, and advice.

·     IGAAP knowledge is preferred.

·     Coordinate with the cost auditors, statutory auditors, consultants and vendors.

Qualifications

·      Qualified CMA with B.Com/M.Com (UG or PG) (any Bachelor's or Master's Degree).

·      Experience in costing and management accounting.

·      Minimum 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in the same domain.

·      Commanding, credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility, and emotional intelligence.

·      Excellent oral & written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

·      Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritisation, and execution skills.

·      Willing to work in the plant premises (IDA Pashamylaram).

·      Should have good knowledge of MS Office to analyse using spreadsheets & make presentations, preferably any ERP.

·      Exposure to Microsoft D365 or any ERP will be an added advantage.
