Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all corporate laws, regulations, and governance standards.
- Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and filings.
- Prepare and file necessary documents with regulatory authorities.
- Organize and manage board meetings, committee meetings, and annual general meetings (AGMs).
- Draft agendas, minutes, resolutions, and official correspondence.
- Advise directors and senior management on corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment.
- Liaise with auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure proper documentation and safekeeping of corporate records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as Company Secretary (CS) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws and governance practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office and corporate compliance tools.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in corporate secretarial or compliance roles.
- Experience working with regulatory filings and board-level documentation is preferred.
