Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Market research & lead generation
- Identify prospects: Use platforms like LinkedIn, Zoom Info, and industry directories to identify potential corporate clients (SMEs and Large Enterprises).
- Database management: Maintain and update a clean CRM (customer relationship management) system with accurate contact details of HR Managers, Finance Heads, and CEOs.
- Competitor analysis: Research the employee benefit packages or asset insurance offered by competitors to help the team find a hook.
- Outreach & business development
- Cold outreach: Initiate first contact through professional emails and cold calling to fix appointments for senior sales managers.
- Lead nurturing: Follow up with warm leads who have shown interest in previous webinars or corporate events.
- Networking support: Assist in organizing or attending corporate networking events, seminars, or trade shows to represent the firm.
- Sales support & documentation
- Presentation design: Create tailored pitch decks and proposals (using PowerPoint/Canva) that highlight specific insurance products like Group Health, Director's & Officer's (D&O) liability, or Marine insurance.
- Quote coordination: Work with the underwriting team to gather premium quotes and compare different policy terms for a client's specific needs.
- KYC management: Assist in collecting and verifying Know Your Customer documents required for corporate onboarding.
- Client relationship management
- Service support: Act as a bridge between the client and the claims team during the initial stages of a policy.
- Renewal tracking: Monitor the expiry dates of existing corporate policies and assist in the renewal process.
