Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Acquisition & Business Development:

  • Identify and acquire new clients within the corporate sector (focus on B2B sales).
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to target potential business clients and expand the company's client base.
  • Source new business opportunities through a variety of channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, industry events, and digital marketing.
  • Create and execute effective lead generation strategies to generate interest and qualify new prospects.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at the C-suite level (CEOs, CFOs, and other senior executives) to gain new business and retain existing accounts.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and propose appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Provide on-going customer support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

3. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Collaborate with the Underwriting Team to ensure accurate and timely quotations and policies.
  • Work alongside the Claims Team to provide clients with timely updates on their claims and ensure seamless processing.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure all client needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.

4. Cold Calling & Lead Generation:

  • Proactively reach out to new potential clients through cold calls and direct outreach.
  • Develop new business leads through a variety of sources, including online platforms, databases, and professional networks.

5. RFQ / QCR Management:

  • Request, manage, and process RFQs (Request for Quotations) and QCRs (Quotation Comparison Reports) for prospective clients.
  • Analyze client requirements and customize insurance solutions accordingly.

6. B2B Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and execute targeted B2B sales strategies to meet corporate sales targets.
  • Drive revenue growth by successfully selling insurance products to large businesses and organizations.

7. Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Stay informed of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, market activity, and feedback from clients to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales within the insurance industry, specifically in a general insurance company or insurance brokerage environment.
  • Proven experience engaging and meeting with C-suite decision-makers (CEOs, CFOs, Directors) in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in managing RFQs and QCRs for insurance products.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Strong cold calling and lead generation skills.
  • Solid understanding of the B2B sales cycle, from lead generation to closing and post-sales support.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • A solid understanding of the general insurance industry and the ability to sell a range of insurance products to corporate clients.
  • Knowledge of the insurance brokerage process, underwriting, claims management, and risk management principles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for client and lead management.
  • Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
