Manager / Senior Manager Corporate Relations (Education Industry)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Relations professional from the Education sectorto lead industry engagement and admissions-related partnerships. The role requires a strong background in building corporate and institutional relationships, driving collaborations, and enabling internships, placements, and long-term partnerships with organizations connected to the education and skilling ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Relationship Development (Domain-Specific)

  • Identify, approach, and onboard corporate partners within the assigned industrydomain.
  • Build strong working relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, talent acquisitionheads, founders, and functional leaders.
  • Position University as a credible, long-term talent and capabilitypartner.

Internships, Live Projects & Placements

  • Source and secure internships, live projects, apprenticeships, and full-timeroles aligned to academic programs.
  • Work closely with corporates to define role descriptions, skill expectations, andhiring timelines.
  • Facilitate interviews, assessments, selection processes, and offer closures.

Industry Integration & Student Readiness

  • Enable guest lectures, industry workshops, masterclasses, site visits, andmentorships from corporate partners.
  • Provide domain insights to help align student skill development, portfolios, andcareer readiness.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to ensure industry relevance of curriculum andoutcomes (without academic ownership).

Relationship Management & Account Growth

  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned corporate accounts.
  • Ensure partner satisfaction, repeat engagement, and account expansion acrossinternships, hiring, and projects.
  • Convert transactional hiring relationships into strategic, multi-touch partnerships.

Data, Reporting & Outcome Tracking

  • Track corporate engagement, opportunities, student participation, and placements incareer services / CRM systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of offers, CTCs, roles, domains, and hiring trends.
  • Share industry intelligence and market insights with internal stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree mandatory; Master's degree preferred in Management, HR, or related fields

Experience

  • 510 years of experience in Corporate Relations within the Education Industry is mandatory
  • Proven background in institutional tie-ups, campus hiring, or education partnerships
  • Strong existing network across education and allied sectors

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Strong corporate communication abilities
  • Understanding of education-industry hiring practices
  • High level of ownership and result orientation
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems
