We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement operations for our multi-outlet restaurant chain in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong vendor management skills, a deep understanding of supply chain processes, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of all materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for food ingredients, packaging, equipment, and consumables.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and supply agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations, kitchen, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure quality standards and adherence to food safety norms.
- Track market trends and pricing to optimize procurement costs.
- Coordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and vendor performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the F&B or hospitality sector.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
