Through its Mid-Day Meal Programme, the organization serves nutritious meals to over 2.1 million children across more than 24,000 government and government-aided schools every school day in 16 states and 2 union territories. With over 3.5 billion meals served since 2000, Akshaya Patra aims to address hunger and education holistically. Additionally, it actively engages in humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief during crises such as floods, cyclones, and the COVID-19 pandemic, through food relief initiatives, grocery kits, and health drives in marginalized communities.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi for a Corporate Partnerships Account Manager - SME. The role entails building and nurturing relationships with corporate partners, identifying fundraising opportunities, and securing financial resources to further the organization's mission. Responsibilities include managing existing corporate accounts, actively prospecting new corporate donors, crafting proposals, negotiating partnership agreements, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders. The individual will play a strategic role in driving corporate collaborations aimed at creating long-term value for both parties while aligning with the foundation's objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Corporate Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships
  • Skills in Account Management and Strategic Partnerships
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage corporate donor relationships effectively
  • Proficiency in developing and executing strategic fundraising plans
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
