Job Description

  • The successful applicant will report directly to the Practice Head and the Founding Partner.
  • Lead and manage a team of practitioners and be responsible for end to end execution of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business combinations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and represent the Firm at industry events and conferences.
  • Provide strategic and commercially sound legal advice on general corporate matters, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide proactive and informed advice to clients.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their potential impact.
  • Engage in business development initiatives for the Team and Firm and independently explore business development leads for the Firm.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Law Graduate with minimum 9 years of post qualification experience in the Law Firm space
  • Experience in leading Corporate transactions end-to-end for clients across sectors
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to build teams and mentor juniors to grow the practice
