Opening for Corporate Legal (Non Litigation)

Location - Mumbai (Lower Parel)

1. Transactional Support:

• Responsible for providing documentation and advisory support to SME, mortgages (including builder financing) team across India, for working capital loan, term loan, sell down of NPA account to ARCs (true sale and SR route) and various security documents including documents relating to mortgage, pledge, guarantee, and hypothecation, drafting of resolutions, NDAs and review of title search report.
• Engaged in drafting, vetting and negotiating various alliance arrangement and related financing documents with corporate for extending financial assistances in the nature of working capital loan and inventory funding.
• Responsible for execution and registration of general terms and conditions for various loan products of NBFC and HFC for online references.

2. Commercial Contracts & Information Technology Support:

• Responsible for structuring of transaction and drafting of facility agreements for app based loan offering.
• Part of the team digitizing the entire collateral and security management process (from file login till actual disbursement) for all products including affordable housing loans.
• Engaged in providing strong contractual, legal and regulatory support to the business/procurement teams on all business operations and activities of the Company, including structuring, drafting and negotiating service provider agreements for outsourcing activities such as IT contracts, loan sourcing and servicing (including collections).

3. Product, Policy and Audit:

• Drafted and standardized policies for the following: -
• Mortgage policy applicable pan India for NBFC and affordable housing segment.
• Supported audits conducted by various portfolio acquisition teams for assignment transaction.
• Led the legal team responsible for collateral management and for the quality control (Audit) of the loan files across all products for both NBFC and HFC pan India.
