About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our organization on a full-time, in-office basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all legal matters of the company, ensuring regulatory compliance, drafting and reviewing contracts, and minimizing legal risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, employment contracts, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable corporate laws, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle company registrations, filings, and liaison with government authorities.
- Provide legal advice to management on corporate governance, risk management, and compliance matters.
- Manage disputes, legal notices, and coordinate with external legal counsel when required.
- Assist in policy drafting, internal legal documentation, and compliance frameworks.
- Stay updated with changes in corporate and commercial laws affecting the business.
Qualifications & Requirements
- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Minimum 37 years of experience in corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, contract, and labor laws.
- Experience in drafting and vetting legal agreements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with startups or product-based companies.
- Understanding of compliance, corporate structuring, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
