We are seeking a Corporate M&A Lawyer with 6-10 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team in India. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in mergers and acquisitions, providing legal support throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating M&A agreements and related documents.
  • Conducting legal due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Advising clients on regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Providing legal advice on structuring transactions to minimize risks.
  • Managing and coordinating with external counsel and advisors during the transaction process.
  • Staying updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting M&A transactions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • LLB degree from a recognized university; LLM is a plus.
  • 6-10 years of experience in corporate law, specifically in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong understanding of Indian corporate law and regulatory framework.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and teams effectively.
  • Experience in managing complex transactions and working under tight deadlines.
