Job Description

Disqualification Criteria (Strict)

  • Candidates with less than 2 years of tenure in their current or previous organization will not be considered.
  • Candidates without relevant experience in Corporate / Commercial Lines sales should not apply.
  • Experience outside General Insurance or Insurance Broking (e.g., non-relevant industries) will not be considered.

Industry Preference (Mandatory)

General Insurance or Insurance Broking industry only

Mandatory exposure to Corporate sales

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development in Corporate General Insurance (Commercial Lines).
  • Pitch and sell general insurance products to corporate clients as a broker.
  • Achieve revenue targets aligned with agreed business plans.
  • Manage and grow relationships with corporate clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Business Development Executives.
  • Handle end-to-end sales cycle including lead management, RFQs, negotiations, and closures.
  • Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting, and conversion tracking.
  • Support key account management, renewals, up-sell, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies for pricing, policy placement, and servicing support.

Qualification

  • Graduate (Mandatory)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B Corporate Sales experience.
  • Mandatory experience in General Insurance / Insurance Broking.
  • Minimum 2 years in the current organization.
  • Proven experience in Corporate sales.

Team Handling

  • Experience managing a team of 35 members.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent convincing, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and sales closures.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Business forecasting
    • Active pipeline management
