Job Description

We are currently seeking a Corporate Finance Specialist to join a growing global finance team, supporting financial reporting, accounting operations, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, expanding business.

Full-time | Permanent Role

Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST (Monday – Friday)

Location: India (Remote)

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and ensuring all accounting activities are completed efficiently and in compliance with company standards. You'll work closely with senior finance leaders and cross-functional teams to support decision-making and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing and maintaining month end close accruals, preparing Journal entries, managing BS and PL - GL reconciliations and reports for management review.
  • Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
  • Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
  • Maintaining and updating the general ledger and chart of accounts
  • Creating and analyzing financial statements, such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial entries, reports, and summaries
  • Conducting account analysis to ensure that entries and balances are correct
  • Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
  • Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents
  • Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures
  • Work with business owners to acquire required approvals and to gain a better understanding of expenses.
  • Monitor daily reports related to for triaging Accounts Payable mailboxes and handling of open items through Expense management and Bill Pay tools
  • Exercise sound judgment regarding situations that may need supervisor/management involvement.
  • Perform other special projects or duties when required.

Requirements

Must Haves

  • 5+ years experience in corporate finance or a similar in-house role
  • Chartered Accountant qualification (CA / CPA)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work US / UK-aligned hours

Nice to Have

  • Experience with NetSuite

The Team & Culture

You'll be joining a small but growing finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO, operations team, and external auditors. The team values open communication, collaboration, and a willingness to learn and grow together.
