Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Planning:
    • Contribute to the development of R&D strategies and follow up on KPIs related to quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Ensure systematic analysis of project progress and completion.
  • Financial Management:
    • Responsible for the R&D budget and financial performance.
    • Create, analyze, and value the budget framework.
    • Optimize project cash flow and manage currency risk, tax issues, and project financing requirements.
    • Capitalization of project,
    • License fee calculation
    • Hourly rate calculation
    • Creation of Project & Closure of projects
    • Ownership of Complete financials for MACH.
  • Project Execution:
    • Prepare the Business Financial Execution Plan consistent with internal, contractual, and regulatory objectives.
    • Promote commercial awareness within the R&D team and provide commercial input to project execution plans.
    • Monitor claims and back-charges, coordinate regular project reviews, and identify risks with mitigation actions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with various stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and operations teams. follow up for time writing and approval.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    • Support the R&D management team in budget-related issues and communicate budget directives.
    • Supervise project accountants, cost engineers, and field administrators as needed.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Implement internal control processes to avoid misstatement in financial statements.
    • Ensure corporate governance, compliance, assurance, and internal control.

  • Internal: Project managers, Engineers, project team, Peers, Accounting and Reporting, Finance and Tax, Legal and Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Marketing & Sales.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an R&D project controller
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, SD-PS, MS Office, Very strong excel skills.
  • Automation and process improvement mindset
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Service mindset
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented team player with the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • (Post Graduate with experience) ,MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA.
  • Familiarity with project management and financial software.
  • 8-10 Years of Experience in a R&D controlling or Project controlling within the construction, manufacturing or engineering industry (Mainly in Projects)
