Key Responsibilities:
. Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 21, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software deployments.
. Integrate and optimize AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, ECS) to ensure high availability and scalability of systems.
. Work with event-driven Pub/Sub systems (e.g., AWS SNS/SQS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ preferred).
. Write clean, well-organized, and testable code following industry best practices and organizational standards.
. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance.
. Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and mentor junior developers, sharing best practices and industry trends.
. Continuously improve engineering practices, tools, and processes.
. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to stay ahead in the competitive marketplace.
Qualifications:
. 6-8 years of professional software development experience with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
. Hands-on experience with Java (Java 21 preferred) and Spring Boot.
. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing microservices.
. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, Lambda), including deployment and scaling strategies.
. Exposure to Pub/Sub or messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS (good to have).
. Proficiency in DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
. Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, as well as ORM frameworks.
. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have:
. Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana)
. Certification in AWS or other relevant technologies
