About The Opportunity
A technology company operating in the Enterprise Software & Cloud Platforms sector, focused on building scalable backend systems and platform services for business-critical applications. We are hiring a midlevel core/backend engineer to join an onsite engineering team in Bangalore working on highperformance, production systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain backend services and core platform components using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices; ensure backward compatibility and robust versioning.
- Troubleshoot production issues: perform rootcause analysis, fix defects, and apply performance optimizations.
- Write unit and integration tests; collaborate on CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (QA, Product, DevOps) to deliver features on schedule and maintain SLAs.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practices to improve system reliability and developer productivity.
