About the Role
We are looking for a Copywriter to join our D2C makeup brand. This role is for someone who values research over fluff and writes copy that truly connects with the audience.
You will own the voice of the brand across our website, product pages, social media, and performance ads creating copy that's as beautiful as the products it describes.
An Ideal Candidate
Loves copywriting and works with rigor.
Can deep-dive into the category, brand, and competition.
Keeps the audience/consumer at the centre of every content piece.
Understands different channels and platforms and thinks digital-first.
Key Responsibilities
Social: Create platform-first copy and video scripts.
Website & Marketplace: Write persuasive copy for website banners, product pages, and marketplace listings.
Ads & Performance: Write for banner ads, videos, and UGC/influencer contentowning the entire journey.
Collaborate with Social, Influencer, and Growth teams to align messaging with marketing goals.
Maintain cohesive communication aligned with the brand identity.
What We're Looking For
47 years of copywriting experience, preferably in beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
Demonstrated portfolio of work across websites, social, and digital advertising.
Experience writing performance copy with an understanding of conversion principles.
Proficiency in writing for multiple formats long-form, short-form, headlines, CTAs.
Good to Have
Prior experience at a D2C beauty or skincare brand, or in a related category.
Understanding of performance metrics such as CTR, ROAS, and CPA.
Exposure to brand identity and tone-of-voice development projects.
