About the Role
We are looking for a Copywriter who understands that words are not filler they are the brand. You will write across every surface Meolaa's brands touch from a three-word product tagline to a full campaign narrative and you will make every word count. This is a role for someone who obsesses over the right word, not just any word, and who understands that great copy feels effortless because of the work that went into it.
What You'll Own
Brand & Campaign Copy
- Write copy for brand campaigns, product launches, and key brand moments across channels
- Develop and own the brand voice for each brand in the Meolaa portfolio distinct, consistent, and alive
- Write long-form brand narratives, manifestos, and About Us content that actually say something
- Conceptualise campaign ideas in partnership with the Creative Strategist and Brand teams
- Ensure every campaign has a clear, sharp verbal idea at its core not just a visual
Product & E-commerce Copy
- Write product descriptions for D2C website and marketplace listings Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, and others
- Craft copy that converts balancing SEO requirements with brand voice without sounding robotic
- Write A+ content, brand store pages, and marketplace brand content
- Own packaging copy from hero claims to ingredient callouts to back-of-pack storytelling
Social & Content Copy
- Write Instagram captions, reels scripts, stories, and social campaign copy
- Develop platform-native copy what works on Instagram is not what works on WhatsApp or YouTube
- Write scripts for video content reels, brand films, and influencer briefs
- Contribute to the content calendar with copy-led ideas and formats
Performance Copy
- Write ad copy for Meta, Google, and marketplace sponsored placements
- Build and test multiple copy variations headlines, hooks, CTAs for performance campaigns
- Use performance data to iterate and improve you treat copy testing like a craft, not a chore
- Write WhatsApp and email marketing copy subject lines, push notifications, and lifecycle flows
Editing & Brand Voice
- Review and edit copy across the organisation ensuring everything that goes out is on-brand and sharp
- Build and maintain brand voice guidelines and copy style guides for each brand
- Be the standard-bearer for language quality across all consumer touchpoints
Who You Are
- 3–6 years of experience in copywriting, preferably for a D2C, FMCG, or consumer brand or digital agency
- Has written across formats brand, product, social, performance, and long-form
- Strong understanding of brand voice and the ability to write in multiple distinct voices without losing quality
- Knows the difference between copy that sounds good and copy that works and aims for both
- Comfortable with SEO principles and performance copy requirements
- Detail-obsessed you notice the misplaced comma and the weak verb
- Prior experience in beauty, fragrance, lifestyle, or personal care is a strong plus
- High ownership, fast turnaround, low ego about edits
