Job Description

Knowing the Organization

  • Have complete understanding of Litmus Vision, Mission & strictly follow the values of the organization at every level.

Copy & Content Strategy

  • Developing compelling content strategies & creative concepts for a myraid of print & digital projects such as, but not limited to, brand story telling, brand positioning, marketing collaterals, scripts, jingles, events, social media, blogs, articles & websites.
  • Identifying, documenting, and articulating the right content strategy for each brand based on critical factors
  • Target audience and perceptions.
  • Nature of Business: B2C, B2B, B2Ch, D2C.
  • Brand Value Proposition
  • Unique selling proposition
  • Brand Positioning
  • Brand Values,Tone & Personality.
  • Nature of the asset, marketing collateral, or channel the content is going to be used for.
  • Ensuring the right balance of creative & functional value in each copy, message or content developed for various brands

Pitches, Awards & Presentations Development

  • Development of presentations for new strategies, upsell/cross sell objectives for pitches or existing clients.
  • Development of presentations for research & analysis done for particular project or project objectives.
  • Research & setting up opportunities for Awards.

Reporting & Management

  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to Copy Head/ Hods on multiple factors such as, but not limited to
  • Review as per role task document
  • Current & Upcoming deliverables & deadlines
  • Completed deliverables
  • Challenges, Missed Deadlines & Client feedback/complaints
  • Understand, & protect the agency's brand values at every level.

Continuous Learning and Improvement

  • Staying abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and emerging technologies to inform and enhance copywriting strategies and approaches
  • Seeking opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement to continually refine and elevate copywriting capabilities

Skills

  • Exceptional writing skills with a focus on creativity, clarity, and brevity
  • Ability to deeply understand brand identity and values to effectively communicate brand messages
  • Skill in adapting writing style to suit different mediums and form factors, including print and digital media
  • Creativity in storytelling and narrative development while maintaining a rational approach
  • Proficiency in writing for social media platforms, adapting content to fit specific formats and engage target audiences effectively
  • Research skills to gather insights and data to inform copywriting strategies
  • Time management for meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of english grammar, & sentence structure formats.
  • Knowledge of copywriting formulas such as, but not limited to-
  • PAS
  • AIDA
  • BAB/FAB
  • Understanding of brand strategy, positioning & personality principles such as, but not limited to-
  • Porter's generic competitive strategy
  • Aakar's Model
  • Carl Jung's Archetypes
  • Knowledge of branding and marketing concepts and techniques
  • Familiarity with different forms of media and their unique content requirements
  • Awareness of industry trends in copywriting and content marketing
  • Understanding of analytics tools for tracking and measuring content performance
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and keyword optimization for web copy

Qualifications: Bachelor's / Master's Degree

Experience: 2-3 Years
