Summary:
Company is seeking a customer-obsessed UX writer to join the Customer Service UX team. In this role, you will be a UX writer for Company products and features used by customers worldwide to resolve their own Customer Service issues. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, UX researchers, product managers, developers, and other UX writers. You&rsquoll help write, update, and deliver UX writing for new large and small features, as well as updates to existing features. Your writing will support a global customer service organization, focusing primarily on writing at a 6th to 8th grade reading level to support localization and accessibility needs.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complicated concepts into jargon-free, concise, user-centric UI copy.
- Ensure that Company customer service associates have the right information at the right moment.
- Deliver UX writing that supports a global audience of both novice and experienced users, helping them easily understand how to use a product with little to no added cognitive effort.
- Dive into the needs of customers and associates based on data and UX research, and turn that into highly effective UX writing.
- Work with UX designers, product managers, engineering, and subject matter experts.
Requirements:
- 3 years of UX writing, content design, or conversation design experience.
- Bachelor&rsquos Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Editorial and proofreading skills.
- Exceptional writing, listening, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using UX Research findings and data to improve UI copy.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves, work independently, and get the job done.
