Job Description
An independent advertising agency with about a hundred people is hiring a Copywriter, through Flexiple, to sit inside its core creative team: the ads, campaigns and brand lines the agency is actually known for, not the longer-form content work happening elsewhere in the building. Clients keep asking for sharper, faster turnaround on campaign copy, and the current team is stretched thin.
You will write headlines, taglines and campaign copy across print, digital and social for a roster of clients, working from creative briefs the strategy team hands over. You will pair with an art director on most campaigns, pitch multiple directions before one gets picked, and defend or rework your copy through a couple of rounds of client feedback.
This is an on-site role based out of Mumbai or Gurugram, working from the agency's creative floor alongside art direction and strategy.
- 1 to 5 years writing for an advertising or brand agency
- A portfolio with sharp, campaign-ready headline and concept work
- Comfortable pitching multiple directions and taking creative feedback
- Strong written English and a genuine feel for brand voice
