Job Title - Content Writer
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
1. E-commerce Listings:
○ Create clear, engaging product descriptions and listings content for e-commerce
platforms.
○ Develop detailed and compelling product USPs to enhance conversions.
○ Collaborate with the product team to ensure accurate and updated listings.
2. PR Drafts:
○ Craft professional press releases that highlight brand milestones, new launches,
and achievements.
○ Write PR content tailored for media outreach to ensure brand visibility and
relevance.
3. Blogs & Articles:
○ Research and write informative and engaging blogs to improve organic traffic via
SEO Optimization.
○ Incorporate brand storytelling and industry trends into long-form content.
4. Research:
○ Stay updated with industry trends, audience preferences, and competitors to
create fresh and relevant content.
5. Social Media Copies:
○ Develop quirky, relatable, and on-brand captions for Instagram, Facebook,
Twitter, and LinkedIn.
○ Conceptualize creative content for social media including new product launches
and other occasions.
○ Adapt content tone for different platforms while maintaining a consistent brand
voice.
6. Ad Copies for Performance Marketing:
○ Write attention-grabbing and conversion-focused ad copies for Facebook,
Google, and other performance marketing platforms.
○ Optimize headlines and CTAs to drive clicks and sales.
7. Creative & Storytelling:
○ Infuse creativity and storytelling into all content formats to connect with the
audience.
○ Develop brand narratives that resonate with the target audience across
campaigns and platforms.
○ Brainstorm and execute unique ideas for videos, reels, and graphics in
collaboration with the creative team.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proficient in using AI tools like ChatGPT for content creation.
2. A degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
3. Strong command of English with excellent writing and editing skills.
4. Minimum 1 year of content writing experience; bonus points for D2C or consumer
electronics experience.
5. A growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to take feedback constructively.
