- Refer and apply the checklist for each deliverable as per business unit requirements.
- Ensure consistency between the base file and the final output.
- Cross-check for style, flow, alignment, layout, word choice, grammar, and language between the base file and the final output.
- Suggest changes by inserting comments in the documents.
Broad Area 2: Copy Editing Deliverables
- Understand the nuances of scientific writing to convert the language into consumer-friendly English.
- Review and edit content for language, style, spelling, grammar, word choice, formatting, and consistency to ensure readability.
- Apply various style guides such as AMA, Vancouver, and other client-specific style guides.
- Highlight sentence restructuring issues for review.
- Ensure logical presentation of the story and target audience documentation while editing.
- Review content for writing quality and client-appropriate style with minimal guidance.
- Identify data conflicts in the document if present.
- Respond to cross-team queries under guidance.
Broad Area 3: Process Adherence and Compliance
- Be aware of organizational, divisional, and client-related policies and procedures related to quality, information security, and data privacy.
- Adhere to quality standards for various deliverables as decided by the business unit or client.
- Maintain confidentiality and copyright rules for various deliverables/clients and company norms.
- Follow all security rules related to standards like ISMS, ISO, CMMI, and client guidelines.
Broad Area 4: Self-Development
- Build mastery in assigned deliverables/editing through self-learning and formal training.

Qualifications
- Education:Any graduate.
- Experience:2-5 years of relevant experience.
Skills:
- Good subject area knowledge and curiosity to explore medical and scientific concepts.
- Excellent command of English, including grammar and spelling.
- Well-versed in different writing styles (active/passive voices, marketing/scientific content).
- Understanding the nuances of creative writing.
- Comfortable operating in a multitask/multi-priority environment.
