Website & Editorial
- Write, edit, and curate timely automotive news, features, and trend-based stories for the Times Drive website
- Generate original story ideas, including features, explainers, special editions, and thematic content packages
- Assist in planning and executing special website properties and long-form content
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to Times Drive's editorial standards
- Coordinate with editors to meet daily publishing targets and content deadlines
Visual & Digital Support
- Source, edit, and optimize images for web stories
- Use basic image editing tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop for story visuals and social media creatives (bonus skill)
Desired Skill Set & Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in digital journalism, content writing, or a website desk role
- Strong command of written English and headline writing
- Ability to spot news, trends, and story opportunities
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (preferred, not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of image editing tools such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced digital newsroom environment
- Interest in automobiles, mobility, or the auto industry will be an advantage.
