Teamware Solutions is seeking a skilled Copper & HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) Networks Design Engineer with proficiency in French language. This role is crucial for designing and optimizing telecommunications network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing significantly to business objectives through expert analysis, development of network designs, implementation support, and troubleshooting within the Copper & HFC Networks Design domain, particularly for projects requiring strong French communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Planning: Design and optimize Copper and Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) networks for telecommunications services, including broadband internet, voice, and video. This involves detailed planning of cable routes, equipment placement (nodes, amplifiers, splitters), and capacity planning.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of network requirements, existing infrastructure, and geographical data to develop efficient and cost-effective network designs.
- Drawing & Documentation: Create detailed network design drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS systems) and other relevant design software.
- Implementation Support: Provide technical support and guidance during the implementation and deployment phases of Copper and HFC network projects, ensuring designs are accurately translated into physical infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot design-related issues, network performance bottlenecks, and operational challenges within Copper and HFC networks. Propose and implement design optimizations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality guidelines.
- Stakeholder Communication (French Focus): Effectively communicate and collaborate with French-speaking clients, project teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies, both verbally and in writing, to understand requirements, present designs, and resolve issues.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in Copper and HFC networks, evaluating new solutions for potential integration.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Copper & HFC Network Design: Strong hands-on experience in the design, planning, and engineering of Copper and Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) telecommunications networks.
- Network Fundamentals: Solid understanding of broadband network architectures, transmission technologies, and associated passive and active network components.
- Design Tools: Proficient in using network design software and CAD/GIS tools relevant to telecom network planning.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to complex network design challenges.
- French Language Proficiency: Fluent in French, both written and verbal, for effective communication with international teams and clients.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical designs and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
