About the Role
The Coordinator Government Relations & Advocacy will lead state-level government engagement in Andhra Pradesh to enable the adoption and scaling of Quest Alliance's Future Skills and Artificial Intelligence curriculum across government schools.
The role will focus on building strategic relationships with state education leadership and district officials, advocating for the integration of AI and future skills into the government education system, and creating pathways for institutional adoption of teacher capacity building approaches, innovation programs, and student engagement platforms.
The coordinator will work closely with Quest Alliance's program teams to ensure that successful models such as AI curriculum integration, teacher training frameworks, hackathons, and ideathons are adopted and scaled across the state.
Key Responsibilities
Governmnt Engagement & Advocacy Lead engagement with state-level education stakeholders including senior officials in the School Education Department. Build and sustain relationships with State education leadership ii. District Collectors and District Education Officers iii. SCERT and DIETs. Advocate for the adoption and scaling of AI and Future Skills curriculum developed by Quest Alliance in collaboration with the SCERT and Samagra Shiksha. Position Quest Alliance as a thought partner to the state government on future skills, AI education, and innovation in schools. Facilitate policy dialogue and consultations to support integration of AI learning and future skills within state education initiatives Systems Adoption & Scale Support the program for being able to influence the government in adopting Quest Alliance's teacher capacity-building approaches for future skills and AI education. Promote adoption of student innovation platforms such as Ideathons/Hackathons ii. Inspire Manak Awards iii. Hack to the Future Events Identify opportunities to embed program approaches within government training systems, teacher professional development programs and state initiatives Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Building Identify and create opportunities for new collaborations with government, institutions, and ecosystem partners. Build partnerships with SCERT/DIETs Department of education, govt of Andhra Pradesh
iii. NGOs and civil society organizations
iv. Education networks and forums.
Represent Quest Alliance in state forums, consultations and education platforms. Support the development of joint initiatives with the government that promote AI education and future skills learning. Program Alignment & Coordination Work closely with program teams to ensure alignment between state engagement and program implementation. Facilitate coordination between government stakeholders and field teams working in districts.
