Prepare, cook, and present menu items in accordance with established recipes, portion guidelines, and food quality standards.
Set up and organize kitchen workstations with the required ingredients, cooking equipment, utensils, and supplies before commencing food preparation.
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served promptly, maintaining optimal temperature, freshness, taste, and presentation.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures, including proper food handling, storage, and temperature control practices.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including work surfaces, cooking equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
Assist with receiving, inspecting, labeling, and storing food supplies and ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
Monitor inventory levels, check ingredient availability, and report shortages or replenishment requirements to the chef or kitchen manager.
Collaborate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow, timely service, and consistent food quality.
Adapt recipes, ingredients, and preparation methods to accommodate special dietary requirements, food allergies, and customer preferences while maintaining quality standards.
