The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Controller will lead our accounting operations and play a central role in scaling Innovapptive's finance function. This highly visible role will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, compliance with U.S. GAAP, and timely reporting to executive leadership, investors, and auditors.

Beyond accounting excellence, the Controller will collaborate closely with FP&A to drive business insights, automation, and operational efficiency. This is a tremendous opportunity to modernize accounting operations through agentic AI, build scalable processes, and contribute directly to Innovapptive's continued growth and efficiency.

What You Will Do

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and all applicable accounting standards
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606, ensuring timely billing and accurate accounting treatment
• Lead the annual financial audit with PwC including preparation of schedules and deliverables
• Coordinate with CohnReznick on federal, state, and local tax compliance and filings
• Develop and document internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures to strengthen governance and reduce risk
• Partner with FP&A to align financial reporting, forecasting, and management dashboards
• Implement agentic AI tools and automation to improve data accuracy, close speed, and analytical capability
• Build and maintain strong relationships with executive leadership, the Board, investors, auditors, and vendors
• Provide technical accounting guidance and prepare accounting memorandums as needed
• Identify and execute process improvements to reduce manual work and improve timeliness

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA required
• Minimum of 5 years of combined public and corporate accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting standards
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or equivalent accounting software
• Interest in FP&A collaboration and modern finance transformation
• Hands-on operator with strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
