Job Profile : The Technical Manager will lead digital innovation projects at Bangalore Airport. This includes exploring and implementing new technologies, managing IT projects, preparing RFPs, conducting PoCs, and ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions aligned with business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, design, and implement IT/digital projects and pilots.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Monitor progress and report status, risks, and issues to leadership.
RFP & Vendor Management
- Prepare RFPs and define evaluation criteria.
- Assess vendor proposals and support contract finalization.
- Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners.
Technology Innovation
- Research emerging technologies (AI/ML, IoT, Robotics, Digital Twins, Biometrics, etc.).
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential digital solutions.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to test feasibility and impact.
Architecture & Development
- Design high-level and target architectures for digital solutions.
- Validate designs with architecture, operations, and security teams.
- Oversee application development and ensure compliance with technical and security standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business teams to understand needs and propose tech solutions.
- Coordinate between internal teams, vendors, and leadership for seamless delivery.
Financial Management
- Handle budgeting (CAPEX/OPEX) and manage costs.
- Ensure renewal of AMCs, licenses, and proper financial planning.

- Programming/scripting (any modern language)
