Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst with strong experience in manual functional testing across web, database, and integration layers. The ideal candidate will have worked in retail or digital eCommerce environments, with exposure to POS and payment systems. Experience with ETL testing and platforms like Instacart is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional manual testing for web-based and enterprise applications
- Execute end-to-end testing across Web UI, Database, and Integration layers
- Validate business workflows in retail and eCommerce applications
- Test POS systems and payment integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL queries
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product teams to understand requirements
- Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
- Log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools
- Ensure high-quality releases aligned with business requirements
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Manual / Functional Testing
- Web Application Testing
- Database Testing (SQL, data validation)
- Integration Testing (APIs, system-to-system flows)
- Experience in Retail (Food) or Digital eCommerce domains
- Exposure to POS systems and payment processing
- Strong understanding of QA processes and SDLC/STLC
Nice to Have
- ETL Testing experience
- Experience with Instacart or similar eCommerce platforms
- Exposure to omnichannel retail environments
- Agile / Scrum experience
