Job Description

Job Role: Manager Contracts

Department: Contracts and Billing Department

Location: Pimple Saudagar, Pune

Working Days: Mon-Sat

Experience: Min 10+ yrs

Salary: 13 LPA

Role Definition:

To appoint contractors within budget & stipulated time to achieve target of organization.

To award contracts within budget and time to deliver the projects in scheduled time with quality.

To build confidence in the contractors by continuously awarding work with appropriate prices.

To maintain visibility and understanding between the Client/Consultants/Contractors involved.

Compilation of quotations and agreement documents and execute the same through tender exercise.

Compilation of addendum/ amendments along with maintaining records.

Timely billing cycle, selection and appointment of qualified contractors as per standards.

Regular assessment of contractors through tender exercise.

Interpretation of terms and conditions and act as facilitator to contractor and company.

Amendment/Addendum to contract agreements.

Regular assessment of contractors through status work and billing quality.

Preparing guidelines for TOR (Terms of Reference) and subsidy of rates in line with project needs.

Responsibility Deliverables:

Pre-qualification & selection of contractors.

Tender exercise & bid comparative.

Finalization of contractor within time.

Negotiation of contractors for work orders.

Deriving company standard rates.

Contractor evaluation.

Solving problems of contractors regarding work order & bills.

Meetings with contractors for ongoing work results.

Coordination with site PM & Sr. Engineer.

Solving problems related to contracts & billing.

Following TAT for smooth contracts & billing work.

Ensuring contractor availability as per project schedule.

Reviewing techno-commercial comparison & negotiations.

Finalizing contractual terms with contractor.

Smooth project progress as per agreed terms.

Interpretation of contractual claims raised by contractor.

Customer-centric approach.

Analyse variances and potential cost issues.

Quality control to minimize errors & dispute.

Checking extra/non-tender items with rate analysis.

Drawing study.
