About the Role

  • We are seeking a confident, curious and self-motivated Contracts Manager to join our growing legal team.
  • This position acts as the initial point of contact for commercial contracting questions from both the business and its clients throughout the UK, EU, and North America. It assists with managing commercial agreements, keeps precise records of contracts and intellectual property, and ensures that every aspect of the contracting process, including intake, evaluation, approval, execution, and storage, is executed with efficiency, consistency, and meticulous organization.

What you will do:

Commercial Contracts Support

  • Track contracts through intake, review, approval, execution, and storage using JMANs contract lifecycle management (CLM) process and tools, ensuring version control and audit-ready records
  • Log and oversee contract variations, change requests and claims, ensuring they are resolved efficiently
  • Support with the development and maintenance of legal templates, legal clause and legal prompt libraries, and internal playbooks - capturing learnings from negotiations and legal / sector developments - under the direction of the General Counsel
  • Maintain contract templates, precedents, internal guidance materials and legal AI tools
  • Ensure a fully auditable repository of agreements in line with governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update contracts and legal databases of the global legal team.
  • Track and monitor key contractual obligations, strengthen internal compliance with deliverables, renewals, and termination timelines, and ensure risks are proactively managed.

IP and Privacy

  • Support IP administration (as applicable) including tracking ownership, licences, and filings, maintaining required documentation, and coordinating with counsel and internal teams on instructions, deadlines, and submissions.
  • Maintain IP registers, contract repositories, and legal records, including ensuring completeness, version control, and audit-ready filing (e.g., executed agreements, notices, approvals, and supporting documentation)

Legal Administration

  • Provide day-to-day support to the legal team, including managing the intake queue, triaging requests, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines.
  • Support basic corporate governance and entity administration as required (e.g., maintaining local entity records, coordinating signatures/authorisations, and supporting company secretarial processes under the direction of the General Counsel)
  • Handle general legal administration to ensure processes run smoothly, including matter tracking, invoice processing for external counsel and costs tracking - maintaining organised, searchable records.
  • Run standard compliance-related processes with appropriate oversight.

About You

Your Educational Qualifications

  • Law degree in India (B.A. LLB) or Paralegal qualification, the United Kingdom, the United States, or another Commonwealth jurisdiction.
  • Equivalent practical experience in commercial contracting and legal operations gained in a business environment.

Your Experience

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience supporting the review and administration of commercial contracts.
  • Experience supporting in-house teams working in the professional services or technology sector.
  • Experience handling contract administration (intake, approvals, signature, contract lifecycle management (CLM) hygiene) alongside substantive contract support
  • Exposure to IP administration and licensing, and data protection, preferred.
  • Familiarity with AIenabled legal tools and an interest in process optimisation is preferred.
